It’s not enough,

To come in to this World & focus only on material matters,

To follow the crowd from nine to five when you don’t want to,

If you have to, then do it with grace

But please, do not lose yourself in the process

Cause if you do, I assure you that you will not be joyful.

Acknowledge that the same greatness you identify in others thrives in you too!

Therefore become your number one fan

Cause if you don’t, who would?

Do not pay attention if naysayers say the contrary

Cause in actuality you are right,

You are just as special as the next one

Although, your talents and qualities may differ

And you must learn to embrace that.

Whatever is not that good in you, then make sure you recognize it

For it is part of who you are too

Neither you nor I are perfect

But you know it is all right!

If you must, then work on your flaws

Just make sure it is your own call.

When the roulette of life points to the bottom

Dwell if you must

But, later look at the sun

I know it would lift you up,

Whenever you have a smile

Then do not forget to share with others

And try to make it often,

For life, it’s lived thru moments

Do not expect anything from others, when you give nothing,

The world revolves around all

And we should all be able to take care of one another.

Appreciate those surrounding you

And when introduce to someone new

Do not give them a resume

Or a background check full of racial, sex, and class classification

You should not deny it

But we are all much more than that.

Let your soul shine thru

For there lies our true splendor

Slow down and really look, if you really pay attention

You can tap in to someone’s real being,

Yes, I believe that our essence can be reflected thru expressions

Ahhh! And the eyes, you and I know they are the true windows to the soul,

The source I want to talk about,

Allow it to come out

Let it shine

Touch others with it

For you are that one person

That can only see what you see,

And walk how you walk.

If you renounce your own shine

Then you won’t be high

And your portion of the puzzle won’t be solved!!!
